Escape the city and journey deep into the Moroccan Sahara on an incredible three-day adventure to Merzouga. Travel through the breathtaking landscapes of southern Morocco, passing traditional Berber villages, lush oases, and historic kasbahs. Visit Taliouine, Morocco's saffron capital, and explore the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Ait Ben Haddou before continuing to the magnificent Dades Gorges for your first overnight stay. The following day, admire the dramatic Todgha Gorge before reaching the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi in Merzouga. Ride a camel across the desert at sunset, enjoy a traditional Moroccan dinner, and spend an unforgettable night beneath a sky filled with stars in a desert camp. Wake early to witness the magical Sahara sunrise before beginning the scenic return journey to Agadir, with plenty of stops along the way to relax and admire Morocco's ever-changing landscapes.
DAY 1 – AGADIR → TALIOUINE → AIT BEN HADDOU → DADES GORGES
07:00 – Hotel pickup from Taghazout. 07:30 – Hotel pickup from Agadir and departure toward southern Morocco. 10:00 – Stop in Taliouine, the famous saffron-producing town. 12:30 – Lunch break (not included). 14:00 – 15:30 – Visit the UNESCO-listed Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou. 17:30 – Scenic drive through Ouarzazate toward the Dades Valley. 19:00 – Arrival at Dades Gorges. 20:00 – Dinner and overnight stay in a guesthouse.
DAY 2 – DADES GORGES → TODGHA GORGE → MERZOUGA
08:00 – Breakfast at the guesthouse. 09:00 – Departure toward Todgha Gorge. 10:30 – Free time to explore the spectacular canyon and take photos. 12:30 – Lunch break (not included). 15:30 – Arrival in Merzouga. 17:30 – Sunset camel ride across the majestic Erg Chebbi dunes. 19:30 – Traditional Moroccan dinner. Overnight – Stay in a traditional desert camp beneath the stars.
DAY 3 – MERZOUGA → AGADIR
06:00 – Optional sunrise over the Sahara dunes. 07:30 – Breakfast at the desert camp. 08:30 – Departure for Agadir. 12:30 – Lunch stop along the way (not included). Throughout the journey – Several comfort stops for refreshments, restrooms, and panoramic views. 21:30 – Optional drop-off at Agadir Al Massira Airport. 22:00 – Arrival at your hotel in Agadir or Taghazout.
