Embark on an unforgettable two-day journey from Agadir to the enchanting M'Hamid Desert, where breathtaking landscapes, authentic Berber culture, and unforgettable desert experiences await. Travel through traditional villages and the Anti-Atlas Mountains, stopping in Taliouine, Morocco's famous saffron-producing region, and Taznakht, renowned for its handcrafted Berber carpets. Continue toward Zagora and the gateway to the M'Hamid Desert, where you'll ride a camel across the dunes at sunset before enjoying a traditional Moroccan dinner and spending the night in a comfortable desert camp beneath a sky filled with stars. After breakfast, begin your return journey with a visit to the UNESCO-listed Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou and a panoramic tour of Ouarzazate, often called the "Hollywood of Africa" thanks to its famous film studios. After exploring these iconic sites, relax on the scenic drive back to Agadir.
DAY 1 – AGADIR → TALIOUINE → TAZNAKHT → ZAGORA → M'HAMID DESERT
07:00 – Hotel pickup from Agadir or Taghazout and departure toward southern Morocco. 09:30 – Short comfort stop along the route through traditional Berber villages. 11:30 – Arrival in Taliouine, Morocco's saffron capital. 12:00 – Lunch break (not included). 13:30 – Continue through Taznakht, famous for its handmade Berber carpets. 17:00 – Arrival in the M'Hamid Desert near Zagora. 17:30 – Sunset camel ride across the dunes. 19:30 – Traditional Moroccan dinner at the desert camp. Overnight – Stay in a traditional desert camp under the stars.
DAY 2 – M'HAMID DESERT → OUARZAZATE → AIT BEN HADDOU → AGADIR
07:30 – Breakfast at the desert camp. 08:30 – Departure toward Ouarzazate. 11:30 – Visit the famous Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. 13:00 – Free time for lunch in Ouarzazate (not included). 14:00 – Panoramic tour of Ouarzazate, including a stop near the renowned film studios, known as the "Hollywood of Africa." 15:00 – Departure for Agadir. 20:00 – Arrival at your hotel in Agadir or Taghazout.
